DESK 5000

Press ADMIN or [.,#*]
​If prompted enter password, press [Enter]
​Press #3 - Setup Menu > 6 - Term Settings

  • 0 - Idle Timer - enter idle time (in seconds)

  • 1 - Printer - toggle on or off

  • 2 - Term HW

    • 1- KeyBeep - Key beep

      • 1 - All off

      • 2- All On

      • 3- Invalid Only

    • 2- Backlight

      • 1 - Always off,

      • 2- Always on

      • 3- on/key press

    • 3- Brightness Setting - slide indicator to adjust brightness

  • 3 - IdleMsg - Enter Idle Message for Idle Screen (Ex. set your company name on home
    screen of terminal)

  • 4 - Clock Display

    • 1 - All pages

    • 2- First Page Only

    • 3- Hide

    • 4-Header

  • 5 - Font Size

    • 1 - Normal

    • 2- Large

  • 6- Screen Saver

  • 7 - Set Date and Time - Enter current Date and Time in 24hr format (1900 = 7PM)

  • 8 - 24Hr Reset - Set begin and end time

  • 9 - Reset New - Enter Admin ID and PW to reset all.

  • 10 - Display Params - press + to display all current terminal settings or print to print report.
