Why Do We Ask You to Consent to Electronic Communications?

When you sign up for Yocale, either as a client or as a business, it is necessary for us to send transactional notifications related to your use of the platform. These communications allow us to confirm bookings, provide appointment reminders, follow up after appointments, and notify you of important changes.

Client Communications:

When a client books an appointment on Yocale:

  • A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.

  • A confirmation SMS will be sent to the mobile number specified in the client’s profile (if enabled).

  • One or more reminder emails may be scheduled (based on the provider’s cancellation policy).

  • One or more reminder SMS messages may be scheduled.

  • A post-appointment email may be sent (receipt, review request), unless the provider opts out.

  • If a provider cancels or reschedules an appointment, we will send a notification by email and/or SMS.

Clients may manage their communication preferences through their account settings. At any time, clients may unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email or replying “STOP” to an SMS message. Please note that opting out will disable all transactional communications across all Yocale providers.

Business and Provider Communications:

When a Business or Provider registers with Yocale:

  • Yocale may send operational communications via email or SMS to staff or providers.

  • These communications include appointment updates, staff schedule notifications, booking reminders, and platform service notices.

Operational communications are an essential part of delivering the Yocale services and cannot be fully disabled without impacting service functionality. However, Businesses and Providers can manage certain notification preferences through account settings where available.
