What is Source Tracking?

Source tracking allows you to add a query string (a short code) to your Yocale booking links (booking widget). When clients use that link to book, Yocale will store the code and display it in your Booking Report.

This helps you understand which platforms or campaigns are driving the most bookings — whether it’s your website, social media, or paid ads.

How It Works

Take your Yocale booking link.

Add a query string at the end of the link like this ?LT=

Add different links in different places for example:

  • On your Instagram page: ?LT=instagram

  • On your Facebook page: ?LT=facebook

  • In your Google Ads: ?LT=googleads

  • On your Website: ?LT=website

When clients book using these links, the source is captured and shown in your:

  • Booking list report

  • Online Booking Source report

In the reporting page.

Example

  • A client books through your Instagram link → Yocale records Instagram as the source.

  • Another client books through your website link → Yocale records Website as the source.

In your reports, you’ll be able to see and compare where your bookings are coming from.
